About us

Atominium is one of the largest and most experienced translation agencies in Poland. Our head office is in the heart of Cracow, and we handle thousands of jobs commissioned by Polish and international clients. Owing to over 25 years of experience, extensive services, and high flexibility in responding to our clients’ requirements, many reputable companies and institutions put their confidence in us.

To ensure the high quality of services, all our clients get a dedicated Project Manager who is well informed about their profile, nature, as well as working systems and requirements.

The way we work

To comprehend our clients’ preferences, we strive to continually improve our standards. By holding weekly meetings, the members of our team can identify and tailor the best solutions for our business partners. This is our commitment that makes Atominium one of the world’s best quality translation agencies complying with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The highest-level security and protection of our clients’ data, while respecting the applicable laws and internal regulations, is ensured.

Project analysis

it is a request from a client, usually by email, in the form of a Word, PDF or PPT file, which is forwarded to a dedicated Project Manager who determines the details of the job, defines its type (software, documentation or multimedia) and all necessary components (translation, editing, desktop publishing).

Quotation

clients receive a quote for the translation of documents including an approximate deadline. The Project Manager provides a quote based on the analysis usually within 30 minutes. In the cases of more complex, multilingual files that require proofreading or additional editing, the quote may take a little longer, of which the client is informed on an ongoing basis.

Confirmation of project

clients email us to accept the terms and conditions of cooperation and then the work is started. After that, client’s details are confirmed and some important issues related to the service are discussed, e.g. staggered return of files or provision of a project in a format different from the one that had been received for translation. We do our best to agree on all the elements that are important for the professional completion of the project. All the rest is done by us.

Implementation

the Project Manager is responsible for scheduling various jobs and taking all the guidelines agreed upon in the quotation into account. A team of translators (specialising in the given field), proofreaders and, if necessary, graphic designers is selected at this point.

Monitoring

the Project Manager is responsible for ongoing supervision of the project. Keeping in touch with the team of translators and editors allows us to deliver timely and quality translations.

DTP and Localization

should a project involve localization or Desktop Publishing (DTP), the file format is adapted to the client’s requirements. The document is then worked on so that the client receives the best and most functional copy of the translation.

Quality Control

the Project Manager eventually verifies the target files, checking whether all components have been made according to the order.

Completion

once the service has been paid for by the client, the copyright for the translation is automatically transferred. The client can manage, publish, and share the translation easily.
